RESOLUTION NO. 2013-728
RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD
OF CONTRACT TO ROD FRICKSON TRUCKING AND
BACKHOE OF EVANSDALE, IOWA, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE WATERLINE RECONNECTION AT 334 BATES
STREET, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,275.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the Contract with Rod Frickson Trucking and Backhoe of
Evansdale, Iowa, in the amount of $1,275.00, in conjunction with
the waterline reconnection at 334 Bates Street, described in the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for
said project with Resolution No. 2013-679A after public hearing
on August 19, 2013 on published notice required by law, be and is
hereby awarded, the same being the apparent lowest bid for said
project.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the said improvements, said
contract not to be binding on the City until approved by this
Council.
