At the City Council meeting on March 16, 2009, bids were opened for the
QUENTINM.
HART F.Y. 2009 SIDEWALK REPAIR PROGRAM — ZONE 9 AND TRAIL REPAIRS,
Ward 4 Contract No. 752. The low bidder was not able to obtain the required bonds for
this project. Therefore, the next low bidder, B & B BUILDERS AND SUPPLY, of
RON Waterloo, Iowa, was considered for this project.

The Contracts and Grants Coordinator has reviewed the items relating to the
BOB 2002 Contract Compliance Program requirements and has transmitted his
GREENWOOD recommendation in the attached letter.
At-Large
STEVE After further review of the bids, it is being recommended that the award of the
SCHMITT contract be made to B & B BUILDERS AND SUPPLY, of Waterloo, Iowa, in the
At-Large amount of $45,747.60.
