ADDENDUM NO. 1
TO THE BIDDING DOCUMENTS FOR
F. Y. 2008 WEST COMMERCIAL ST. STORM WATER PUMPS
CONTRACT NO. 750

TO ALL BIDDERS ON THE ABOVE PROJECT:
All Bidders submitting a bid on the above contract shall carefully read this Addendum and give it
consideration in the preparation of their bid.
SPECIFICATIONS
1. Specification Section 26 2419-Panelboards
Part 2.03: Applies to pump#1 only.
2. Specification Section 26 9000-Pump Station Controls
A. Part 2.01 F: QCI is an approved manufacturer.
B. Part 2.02: A submersible level transducer is approved for primary control. Float
switches are approved for redundant control.
C. Part 2.02.B.10: Mission is an approved manufacturer.
D. Part 2.02.C.1: No security cameras are required. Touch screen shall not be
required to view security camera video.
E. Part 2.02.K.6: Pump#1 (jockey pump)shall not be provided with an adjustable
speed drive. Provide a magnetic motor starter within the MCC for control of this
pump only.
F. Part 2.04: Coordinate cellular telephone requirements with city prior to ordering.
Provide all appropriate mounting hardware for cellular antenna.
Any revisions to any of the Contract Documents made by this Addendum shall be considered as
the same revision to any and all related areas of the Contract Documents not specifically called
out in this Addendum.
The bidder shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum by inserting the number and date in the
spaces provided in the Form of Bid or Proposal, Item 8,Page 2 of 3.
