F.Y. 2010 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM

Recommended City Council Action:
The City Engineer's Office recommends that the Mayor be authorized to sign this agreement on
behalf of the City of Waterloo.
Summary Statement
This agreement is between the City of Waterloo and the Waterloo Water Works for water main
replacement on W. 9th Street, Loma Street, Longview Drive, Maxine Avenue, Maynard Avenue,
and Westbourne Road. The City of Waterloo will be responsible for the cost of the
reconstruction of the street and the Waterloo Water Works will be responsible for the cost of the
water main replacement. The City will process the payments to the contractor and will then be
reimbursed by the Waterloo Water Works.
