ADDENDUM NO. 1
HANGAR NO. 5 REHABILITATION

TO ALL BIDDERS ON THE ABOVE PROJECT
All bidders submitting a bid on the above-referenced project shall carefully read this addendum and give it
consideration in the preparation of their Bid.
I. The following are revisions to the SPECIFICATIONS: '
a. RECEIVING OF BIDS/OPENING OF BIDS/PUBLIC HEARING
1) The date for receiving of bids on the above-referenced project has been extended for an
additional week. Please see the following paragraph for revised bid closing date.
Sealed proposals will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at her
office in the City Hall of the said City on the 8th day of June, 2017, until 1:00 p.m. for the
construction of HANGAR NO. 5 REHABILITATION, as described in detail in the plans and
specifications now on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
2) The date for opening of bids received on the above-referenced project has been extended for an
additional week. Please see the following paragraph for revised bid opening date.
All proposals received will be opened in the First Floor Conference Room at City Hall, in
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the 8th day of June, 2017, at 1:00 p.m_, and the proposals
will be acted upon at such later time and place as may then be fixed by the City Council.
3) The date for the Public Hearing on the above-referenced project has been extended for an
additional week. Please see the following paragraph for revised Public Hearing date.
The Council of said City will conduct a public hearing on the proposed plans,
specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost for the construction of the HANGAR
NO. 5 REHABILITATION project at 5:30 p.m. on the 12th day of June, 2017,said hearing to
be held in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers in City Hall in said City.
II. Any revisions to any of the Contract Documents made by this Addendum shall be considered as the same
revision to any and all related areas of the Contract Documents not specifically called out in this Addendum.
III. The Bidder shall acknowledge receipt of this addendum by inserting the date and number in the spaces
provided on page FB-2 of the FORM OF BID OR PROPOSAL.
