All Bidders submitting a Bid on the above Contract shall carefully read this Addendum and give it consideration in the preparation of their Bid. SPECIFICATIONS 1. SECTION 01350 — ON-SITE HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS A, Paragraph 1.04, Quality Assurance, add the following subparagraph: "B. Training: 1. All on-site personnel of the Contractor and the Contractor's subcontractors are required to be 40-hour trained per 29 CFR 1910 (HAZWOPER), and to be current with refresher training. 2. Training requirement is at Contactor's discretion for such work where there is no risk of contact with hazardous materials (such as trucking of materials). 3. Contractor's HASP shall address the limitations of all work in which 40 hour training is not a requirement. 4. Workers shall be able to recognize potential hazardous materials and conditions." B. Paragraph 1.06, Health and Safety, add the following subparagraph: "C. Contractor's designated health and safety officer shall hold safety meetings each day and brief field crew of the possible hazardous conditions that may be present. Contractor shall record and require each attendee to sign a safety briefing log each day." ADM#1- 1 2. SECTION 02221 — BUILDING DEMOLITION A. Paragraph 3.04, Debris and Waste Management, add the following subparagraph: "E. Remove as much soil from the rubble as possible to prevent transporting potentially contaminated soil off site. Inspect and clean hauling trucks of any soil or rubble that may fall off during transportation. Hauling vehicles shall be covered during transportation. F. Contactor shall not remove, and is not responsible for removing hazardous materials. All hazardous materials shall remain on site." FIGURES 1. FIGURE 1 — SITE DEMOLITION PLAN A.
