RESOLUTION NO. 2014-206
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF GEORGE
MARSHALL OF HARVEST VINEYARD CHURCH, FOR
VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, George Marshall of Harvest Vineyard Church is
requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on June 1St and 15th,
July 6th and 20th, August 17th, September 7th and 21St, and
October 5, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in conjunction with a
Sunday picnic event to be held at Lincoln Park, including the use
of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said George Marshall of Harvest Vineyard Church has
made formal application for a variance to the Noise Ordinance on
June 1St and 15th, July 6th and 20th, August 17th, September 7th and
21St, and October 5, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in
conjunction with a Sunday picnic event to be held at Lincoln
Park, together with recommendation of approval of the Director of
Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of George Marshall of Harvest
Vineyard Church is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance
on June lst and 15th, July 6th and 20th, August 17th, September 7th
and 21St, and October 5, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in
conjunction with a Sunday picnic event to be held at Lincoln
Park, including the use of a PA system, be and the same hereby
granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of April, 2014.
