RESOLUTION NO. 2014-227
RESOLUTION APPROVING FEDERAL -AID AGREEMENT
FOR A TRANSPORTATION ALTERNATIVES PROGRAM
(TAP) PROJECT WITH THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF
SAID AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Federal -Aid Agreement for a Transportation Alternatives
Program (TAP) Project dated April 7, 2014, with funding 80
percent of the total cost of eligible items up to a maximum
amount of $412,000.00, with a required local match of 20 percent
up to $103,000.00, for the F.Y. 2014 Shaulis Road Recreational
Trail Extension - Phase I, Contract No. 858, by and between the
Iowa Department of Transportation and the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk
authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of April, 2014.
