RESOLUTION NO. 2014-240
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF CEDAR VALLEY
IRISH CULTURAL ASSOCIATION TO HOLD 5K RUN/WALK
EVENT ON AUGUST 2, 2014.
WHEREAS, the Cedar Valley Irish Cultural Association has
requested that they be allowed to hold a 5K Run/Walk event on
August 2, 2014, together with the approval of the Director of
Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the route
to start and finish at 4th Street and Mulberry Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Cedar Valley Irish
Cultural Association to hold a 5K Run/Walk event on August 2,
2014 beginning at 7:30 a.m. , with the route to start and finish
at 4th Street and Mulberry Street, be and the same is hereby
approved.
