RESOLUTION NO. 2014-283
RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATE
OF COST, ETC., IN CONJUNCTION WITH ASBESTOS
ABATEMENT SERVICES FOR THE FOLLOWING
PROPERTIES: 3137 INDEPENDENCE AVENUE, 2375
INDEPENDENCE AVENUE, 4012 LEVERSEE ROAD,
AND 425 ALMOND STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Community Planning and Development
Director of said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications,
form of contract, estimate of cost, etc., in conjunction with
Asbestos Abatement Services for the following properties: 3137
Independence Avenue, 2375 Independence Avenue, 4012 Leversee
Road, and 425 Almond Street, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director
did file said plans, specifications, form of contract, estimate
of cost, etc., in conjunction with Asbestos Abatement Services
for the following properties: 3137 Independence Avenue, 2375
Independence Avenue, 4012 Leversee Road, and 425 Almond Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, estimate of cost, etc., in conjunction with Asbestos
Abatement Services for the following properties: 3137 Independence
Avenue, 2375 Independence Avenue, 4012 Leversee Road, and 425
Almond Street, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same
are hereby, preliminarily approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21St day of April, 2014.
