RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING ON PROPOSED PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS,
FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., IN CONJUNCTION WITH
ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES FOR THE FOLLOWING
PROPERTIES: 3137 INDEPENDENCE AVENUE, 2375
INDEPENDENCE AVENUE, 4012 LEVERSEE ROAD, AND
425 ALMOND STREET, IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO AS
MAY 5, 2014, AT 5:30 P.M. IN THE LAW COURT
THEATER IN THE WATERLOO CENTER FOR THE ARTS,
WITH THE TAKING OF BIDS THEREFORE, AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet in the Law Court Theater in the Waterloo Center for
the Arts in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 5th
day of May, 2014, for the purpose of holding a public hearing on
proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with Asbestos Abatement Services for the following
properties: 3137 Independence Avenue, 2375 Independence Avenue,
4012 Leversee Road, and 425 Almond Street, in the City of
Waterloo, with the taking of bids therefore.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21St day of April, 2014.
