RESOLUTION NO. 2016-686
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF MAIN STREET
WATERLOO AND THE WATERLOO COMMUNITY SCHOOL
DISTRICT TO HOLD THE 18TH ANNUAL MAYOR'S FUN
RUN EVENT ON SEPTEMBER 29, 2016 FROM 9:30 A.M.TO
12:00 NOON AT THE EXPO GROUNDS AND DOWNTOWN
STREETS.
WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo and the Waterloo Community School District have
requested that they be allowed to hold the 18th Annual Mayor's Fun Run Event on September 29,
2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Expo Grounds and downtown streets, together with the
approval of the Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 9:30 a.m., with the route to start and end at the Expo
Grounds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Main Street Waterloo and the Waterloo Community
School District to hold the 18th Annual Mayor's Fun Run Event on September 29, 2016 from
9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Expo Grounds and downtown streets, be and the same is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September, 2016.
