RESOLUTION NO. 2016-689
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF GARY & PATRICIA
JOHNSON FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094,
NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Gary & Patricia Johnson have requested a Variance to the Noise Ordinance
on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. for the "Rachel Jorgensen/Jason
Johnson Wedding" event to be held at 1233 Northey Street, a residential neighborhood, along
with the use of a P.A. System, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance,
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Gary & Patricia Johnson for a Variance to the Noise
Ordinance on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. for the "Rachel
Jorgensen/Jason Johnson Wedding" event to be held at 1233 Northey Street, a residential
neighborhood, along with the use of a P.A. System, together with the recommendation of the
Director of Safety Services, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September, 2016.
