RESOLUTION NO. 2016-690
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF PASTOR GILBERT
CLAY, SR. ON BEHALF OF R. H. MIRACLE CENTRAL
CHURCH FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094,
NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Pastor Gilbert Clay, Sr. on behalf of R. H. Miracle Central Church has
requested a Variance to the Noise Ordinance on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 10:00 a.m.
to 3:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the Back to Church
Carnival and Church Service to be held on the church lawn located at 1926 Sager Avenue, along
with the use of a P.A. System, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance,
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Pastor Gilbert Clay, Sr. on behalf of R. H. Miracle
Central Church for a Variance to the Noise Ordinance on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the
Back to Church Carnival and Church Service to be held on the church lawn located at 1926 Sager
Avenue, along with the use of a P.A. System, together with the recommendation of the Director
of Safety Services, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September, 2016.
