RESOLUTION NO. 2016-709
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO JASPER
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, INC., OF NEWTON, IOWA IN THE
AMOUNT OF $223,910.00; AND APPROVING THE CONTRACT,
BONDS AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FOR THE F.Y. 2017
BRIDGE REPAIRS - 6TH STREET, 18TH STREET, AND
ANSBOROUGH AVENUE, CONTRACT NO. 916; AND AUTHORIZE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the contract for the F.Y. 2017 Bridge Repairs - 6th Street, 18th Street, and Ansborough
Avenue, Contract No. 916, along with the bonds and certificate of insurance are hereby awarded
to Jasper Construction Services, Inc., of Newton, Iowa in the amount of $223,910.00, and the
Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September 2016.
