RESOLUTION NO. 2016-718
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST FROM THE
WATERLOO SCHOOLS FOUNDATION TO HOLD THEIR
ANNUAL TRICK OR TROT 5K AND 1 MILE RUN EVENT ON
OCTOBER 15, 2016 STARTING AT 9:00 A.M. AT LOU HENRY
ELEMENTARY AND SURROUNDING STREETS.
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Schools Foundation has requested that they be allowed to hold
their annual Trick or Trot 5K and 1 Mile run on October 15th, 2016 starting at 9:00 a.m. at Lou
Henry Elementary and surrounding streets, together with the approval of the Director of Safety
Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 9:00 a.m., with the route traveling on Prospect Blvd.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Waterloo Schools Foundation to hold their annual
Trick or Trot 5K and 1 Mile run on October 15th, 2016 starting at 9:00 a.m. at Lou Henry
Elementary and surrounding streets, together with the approval of the Director of Safety Services,
be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of September, 2016.
