RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT ETC. FOR THE
RENTAL OF FOUR (4) MOTOR GRADERS TO SUPPORT SNOW
REMOVAL OPERATIONS AND SETTING DATE OF BID
OPENING AS SEPTEMBER 22, 2016 AND DATE OF PUBLIC
HEARING AS SEPTEMBER 26, 2016, AND INSTRUCT CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers, City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 26th day of September
2016, for the purpose of holding a public hearing on preliminarily approving plans,
specifications, form of contract etc. for the rental of four (4) motor graders to support snow
removal operations, with the taking of bids at 1:00 p.m. on September 22, 2016.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of
said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of September, 2016.
