RESOLUTION NO. 2016-735
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF EAST HIGH
SCHOOL TO HOLD THEIR ANNUAL HOMECOMING
PARADE ON SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2016 FROM 2:00 P.M. TO
3:00 P.M. UTILIZING THE AREA AROUND EAST HIGH AND
DOWNTOWN STREETS.
WHEREAS, East High School has requested that they be allowed to hold their
Homecoming Parade on September 30, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., traveling south on E.
5th Street to Sycamore and returning to East High via E. 4th Street, together with the approval of
the Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 2:00 p.m., with the route to start and end at East
High School.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of East High School to hold their Homecoming Parade on
September 30, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. beginning and ending at East High, along with
intersection control and street closures, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of September, 2016.
