RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING ON PROPOSED PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS,
FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., IN CONJUNCTION WITH
ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES FOR 134 DEARBORN
AVENUE, 928 MULBERRY STREET, 717 VINTON
STREET, 927 MULLAN AVENUE, 67 FRANKLIN
STREET, 820 FOWLER STREET, 409 STATE STREET,
520 COTTAGE STREET, 1013 LINCOLN STREET, 420
DAWSON STREET AND 801-805 COMMERCIAL STREET,
IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO AS MARCH 3, 2014, AT
5:30 P.M. IN THE LAW COURT THEATER AT THE
WATERLOO CENTER FOR THE ARTS, WITH THE TAKING
OF BIDS THEREFORE, AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet in the Law Court Theater at the Waterloo Center for
the Arts in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd
day of March, 2014, for the purpose of holding a public hearing
on proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with Asbestos Abatement Services for 134 Dearborn
Avenue, 928 Mulberry Street, 717 Vinton Street, 927 Mullan
Avenue, 67 Franklin Street, 820 Fowler Street, 409 State Street,
520 Cottage Street, 1013 Lincoln Street, 420 Dawson Street and
801-805 Commercial Street, in the City of Waterloo, with the
taking of bids therefore.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of February, 2014.
