RESOLUTION NO. 2014-020
RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR
ENTERPRISE ZONE CERTIFICATION WITH IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID APPLICATION BY
COMMUNITY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Application for Enterprise Zone Certification dated
January 13, 2014, for the expansion of the Enterprise Zone to
include property bounded by Hawthorne Avenue, Vermont Street and
Eureka Street, in Auditor Francis Reitzel Plat and Orlo C Miller
Addition, commonly known as Baltimore Field, by and between the
Iowa Department of Economic Development and the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Community
Planning and Development Director authorized to execute the same
in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day f January, 2014.
