RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF CO -PASTOR
JUDEDA HILL OF GIFT OF LIFE CHURCH, 1651
SYCAMORE STREET, FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE
NO. 3094, NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Co -Pastor Judeda Hill of Gift of Life Church, 1651
Sycamore Street, is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance
on October 4, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in conjunction
with a Fall Festival event to be held at 1651 Sycamore Street and
the empty lot next to the church, including the use of a PA
system along with gospel music, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Co -Pastor Judeda Hill of Gift of Life Church,
1651 Sycamore Street, has made formal application for a variance
to the Noise Ordinance on October 4, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00
p.m., together with recommendation of approval of the Director of
Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Co -Pastor Judeda Hill of Gift
of Life Church, 1651 Sycamore Street, for a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on October 4, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in
conjunction with a Fall Festival event to be held at 1651
Sycamore Street and the empty lot next to the church, including
the use of a PA system along with gospel music, be and the same
hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of June, 2014.
