RESOLUTION NO. 2014-536
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CERTIFICATION OF
UNPAID LIFE SAFETY AND RENTAL INSPECTION FEES
AND UNPAID GARBAGE AND SEWER FEES IN THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, Iowa Code Section 364.17(3) allows municipalities
to certify unpaid life safety and rental inspection fees to the
benefited property as a lien.
WHEREAS, Iowa Code Section 384.84(3) allows municipalities
to certify unpaid garbage and sewage fees to the benefited
property as a lien.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk be and the same hereby
instructed to certify to the Black Hawk County Treasurer all
unpaid life safety and rental inspection fees and unpaid garbage
and sewer fees, as contained in the schedule now on file in the
City Clerk's office.
