RESOLUTION NO. 2014-192
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON AMENDMENT TO CITY OF
WATERLOO ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 5079, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS
FOR "PAYDAY" LOAN BUSINESSES (DELAYED DEPOSIT
SERVICE USE) AND PAWNSHOP BUSINESSES, AS
APRIL 14, 2014, AT 5:30 P.M. IN THE LAW COURT
THEATER AT THE WATERLOO CENTER FOR THE ARTS
AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet in the Law Court Theater at the Waterloo Center for
the Arts in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 14th
day of April, 2014, for the purpose of considering and acting
upon amendment to City of Waterloo Zoning Ordinance No. 5079, as
amended, by adding additional restrictions for "payday" loan
businesses (delayed deposit service use) and pawnshop businesses,
a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of March, 2014.
