RESOLUTION NO. 2014-316
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF 105.7 KOKZ TO
HOLD THE 33RD ANNUAL 105.7 KOKZ 4TH STREET
CRUISE SHOW AND SHINE ON MAY 23, 2014 AND THE
4TH STREET CRUISE ON MAY 24, 2014.
WHEREAS, 105.7 KOKZ has requested that they be allowed to
hold the 33rd Annual 105.7 KOKZ 4th Street Cruise Show and Shine
on May 23, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the National
Cattle Congress grounds and the 4th Street Cruise on May 24, 2014
from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. in downtown Waterloo, and
WHEREAS, said route of the cruise will be cars from the east
side traveling from Mulberry Street across the river on 4th
Street to Bluff Street and returning on Park Avenue to Mulberry
Street, and cars from the west side will be traveling from Bluff
Street across the river on 4th Street to Mulberry Street and
returning to Bluff Street on 5th Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of 105.7 KOKZ to hold the 33rd
Annual 105.7 KOKZ 4th Street Cruise Show and Shine on May 23,
2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the National Cattle Congress
grounds and the 4th Street Cruise on May 24, 2014 from 12:00 noon
to 4:00 p.m. in downtown Waterloo, with cars from the east side
traveling from Mulberry Street across the river on 4th Street to
Bluff Street and returning on Park Avenue to Mulberry Street, and
cars from the west side will be traveling from Bluff Street
across the river on 4th Street to Mulberry Street and returning
to Bluff Street on 5th Street, be and the same is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of May, 2014.
