RESOLUTION NO. 2014-346
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF WMT RADIO TO
HOLD THE WMT GREAT EASTERN IOWA TRACTORCADE
EVENT ON JUNE 9-11, 2014.
WHEREAS, WMT Radio has requested that they be allowed to
hold The WMT Great Eastern Iowa Tractorcade event on June 9-11,
2014, together with the approval of the Director of Safety
Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin each day with tractors
leaving Cattle Congress grounds and exiting the city on an
approved route traveling through surrounding counties and
returning to the Cattle Congress grounds each evening.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of WMT Radio to hold The WMT
Great Eastern Iowa Tractorcade event on June 9-11, 2014, with the
event beginning each day with tractors leaving Cattle Congress
grounds and exiting the city on an approved route traveling
through surrounding counties and returning to the Cattle Congress
grounds each evening, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of May, 2014.
