RESOLUTION NO. 2014-361
RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Agreement dated May 12, 2014, for Revitalize Iowa's
Sound Economy (RISE) Project grant in the amount of $359,115.00,
with 50 percent required local match, for the development of
approximately 1,394 feet of Geraldine Road that will extend the
existing road to tie into Airline Highway, by and between the
Iowa Department of Transportation and the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk
authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of May, 2014.
