RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF ROOFF
DEVELOPMENT TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 0.413
ACRES LOCATED AT THE CORNER OF EAST 3RD
STREET AND LAFAYETTE STREET FROM "C-2"
COMMERCIAL TO "C-3" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, AS
MAY 27, 2014, AT 5:30 P.M. IN THE LAW COURT
THEATER IN THE WATERLOO CENTER FOR THE ARTS
AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE
OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Law Court Theater in the Waterloo Center for the Arts
in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 27th day of
May, 2014, for the purpose of considering and acting upon an
application of Rooff Development to rezone approximately 0.413
acres located at the corner of East 3rd Street and Lafayette
Street from "C-2" Commercial to "C-3" Commercial District, and
legally described as follows:
Original Plat Waterloo East Lot 8 Block 31 Lot 9 Block
31.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of May, 2014.
