Members present: Chairperson Welper, Hart, Cole, Schmitt, Lind, and Morrissey. Absent:
Jones.
Moved by Hart, seconded by Schmitt that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Six.
Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Morrissey that request for authorization to begin the recruitment
process for Director Waterloo Housing Authority -Community Planning & Development and
make an appointment, be approved. Ayes: Six. Motion carried.
Noel Anderson, Community Planning & Development Director, explained the necessity of this
position.
Moved by Hart, seconded by Schmitt that request for authorization to make an appointment to
Police Sergeant from a Civil Service list to be certified on September 26, 2014, be approved.
Ayes: Six. Motion carried.
Dan Trelka, Director of Safety Services, noted that the position is necessary.
With no further business before the committee, it was moved by Schmitt, seconded by Welper
that the meeting be adjourned at 5:10 p.m. Ayes: Six. Motion carried.
