Members present: Chairperson Welper, Hart, Cole, Jones, Schmitt, Lind, and Morrissey.
Moved by Hart, seconded by Schmitt that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Seven.
Motion carried.
Moved by Hart, seconded by Schmitt that request for authorization to begin the recruitment
process for Information Technology Director and make an appointment, be approved. Ayes:
Seven. Motion carried.
Mr. Jones explained that this will be a good step to move the City forward.
Mr. Schmitt questioned what the overall plan for this department will be.
Suzy Schares, City Clerk, explained that the plan is to look at outsourcing some of the functions
after the director is hired.
Matt O'Brien explained that it is prudent to have this person in place to create that plan.
Michelle Weidner, Chief Financial Officer, explained the proposed budget for next fiscal year.
With no further business before the committee, it was moved by Hart, seconded by Schmitt that
the meeting be adjourned at 5:08 p.m. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
