RESOLUTION NO. 2016-880
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT
TO BOULDER CONTRACTING, LLC, OF GRUNDY CENTER,
IOWA IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,424,426.57, AND APPROVING
THE BONDS AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FOR THE
F.Y. 2017 BRIDGE DECK REPAIR AND OVERLAY
PROGRAM (DIVISION I BASE BID + ALTERNATE A OPTION
1 + DIVISION II), CONTRACT NO. 879, AND AUTHORIZE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the contract for F.Y. 2017 Bridge Deck Repair and Overlay Program (Division I Base Bid +
Alternate A Option 1 + Division II), Contract No. 879, is hereby awarded to Boulder Contracting,
LLC, of Grundy Center, Iowa in the amount of $1,424,426.57, and approving the bonds and
Certificate of Insurance are hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of November, 2016.
