RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AS NOVEMBER 28, 2016 TO APPROVE A REQUEST BY
INVISION ARCHITECTURE ON BEHALF OF NORTH
CROSSING, LLC FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE
"C -P" PLANNED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO ALLOW FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 35,000 SF MEDICAL OFFICE,
LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF HIGHWAY 63
(LOGAN AVENUE) AND EAST DONALD STREET, AND
INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers, at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th day of November,
2016, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a request by INVISION Architecture on the
behalf of North Crossing, LLC for a site plan amendment to the "C -P" Planned Commercial
District to allow for the construction of a 35,000 SF medical office, located at the northeast
corner of Highway 63 (Logan Avenue) and East Donald Street, and legally described as follows:
LOT 1, MENARD-LOGAN PLAZA MINOR PLAT, BLACK HAWK
COUNTY, IOWA, RECORDED IN DOC. NO. 2008-07262 AND BEING
PART OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST
QUARTER OF SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 89 NORTH, RANGE 12
WEST OF THE 5TH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, BLACK HAWK
COUNTY, IOWA.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
