RESOLUTION NO. 2016-914
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST BY KRISTEN
JOHNSTON TO LEASE EIGHT (8) ACRES OF CITY OWNED
LAND ALONG BISHOP AVENUE JUST SOUTH OF THE
BLOWERS CREEK DRAINAGE WAY FOR ONE (1) YEAR
WITH OPTION TO RENEW FOR ONE (1) YEAR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the Lease Agreement dated November 14, 2016, in the amount of $600 per year with an option to
renew for one (1) year, to stable horses on eight (8) acres of city -owned land generally located
along Bishop Avenue just south of the Blowers Creek drainage way, by and between Kristen
Johnston, and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of November, 2016.
