RESOLUTION NO. 2017-02 RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENT, FORM OF CONTRACT ETC. AND SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS JANUARY 12, 2017 AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS JANUARY 17, 2017, FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) PICKUP TRUCKS, FOR THE BUILDING INSPECTIONS DEPARTMENT, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers, City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th day of January 2017, for the purpose of holding a public hearing on preliminarily approving specifications, bid documents, form of contract etc., on the purchase of two (2)pickup trucks and setting date of bid opening as January 12, 2017. Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of January, 2017.
