RESOLUTION NO. 2017-09
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AMENDMENT TO
DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH AVITA
DEVELOPMENTS, LLC AND THE CITY OF WATERLOO, TO
CHANGE THE WORDING FOR HOW THE INCENTIVES ARE
AWARDED IN THE AGREEMENT, TO ALLOW FOR BETTER
ABILITY FOR LEASING OF PREMISES, AND AUTHORIZE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN AND FULLY EXECUTE
ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Amendment to the Development Agreement dated January 3, 2017, between Avita
Developments, LLC and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to change the wording in the development
agreement, for how the incentives are awarded, for the development of a new medical office in
the Greenbelt Centre along West Ridgeway Avenue, is hereby approved and the Mayor and City
Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of January,2017.
