RESOLUTION NO. 2017-17
RESOLUTION APPROVING CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL
ASSESSMENTS FOR PROPERTIES LISTED ON EXHIBIT A,
AND AUTHORIZE CITY CLERK TO NOTIFY BLACK HAWK
COUNTY TREASURER OF SAID CANCELLATIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, new Iowa Code 384.84 states that if the delinquent rates or charges were
incurred prior to the date a transfer of the property or premises in fee simple is filed with the
County Recorder and such delinquencies were not certified to the County Treasurer prior to such
date, the delinquent rates or charges are not eligible to be certified to the County Treasurer as
contained on the attached list.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9t'day of January, 2017.
