RESOLUTION NO. 2017-20
RESOLUTIO APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT AND
RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK FOR
WORK PERFORMED BY MIDWEST CONCRETE, INC., OF
PEOSTA, IOWA, AT A TOTAL COST OF $214,776.00, FOR
THE F.Y. 2017, SIDEWALK REPAIR ASSESSMENT
PROGRAM - ZONE 6, CONTRACT NO. 909, AND RECEIVE
AND FILE TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Midwest Concrete, Inc., of Peosta, Iowa, performed work on the FY 2017
Sidewalk Repair Assessment Program—Zone 6, Contract No. 909, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
and
WHEREAS, Midwest Concrete, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project in
accordance with the project plans and specifications at a total cost of$214,776.00.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and recommendation of acceptance of
work performed are hereby approved and the City Clerk is directed to receive and file on behalf
of the City of Waterloo,Iowa the two (2)year maintenance bond.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9ffi day,of January 2017.
