RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY SPECIFICATIONS,
BID DOCUMENT, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS FEBRUARY 2, 2017 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS FEBRUARY 6, 2017, FOR THE
PURCHASE OF TWO 2
CHEVROLET
IMPALA SEDANS FOR
THE POLICE INVESTIGATION DIVISION, AND INSTRUCT THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SPECIFICATIONS, BID
DOCUMENT, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers, City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 6th day of February
2017, for the purpose of holding a public hearing on approving preliminary specifications, bid
documents, form of contract etc. on the purchase of two 2
Chevrolet Impala sedans for

Police Investigation Division, and setting date of bid opening as February 2, 2017.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of
said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
