RESOLUTION NO. 2017-31
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY SPECIFICATIONS,
BID DOCUMENT, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS FEBRUARY 9, 2017 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS FEBRUARY 13, 2017, FOR THE
PURCHASE OF ONE (1) FWD/AWD CARGO VAN, TO SUPPORT
THE ANIMAL CONTROL OPERATION, AND INSTRUCT THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SPECIFICATIONS, BID
DOCUMENT, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers, City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 13th day of February
2017, for the purpose of holding a public hearing approving preliminary specifications, bid
documents, form of contract etc., for the purchase of one (1) FWD/AWD Cargo Van, to support
the Animal Control operation, and setting date of bid opening as February 9,2017.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of
said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of January, 2017.
