RESOLUTION NO. 2017-32
RESOLUTION APPROVING CANCELLATION OF
ASSESSMENT FOR 107 PROSPECT AVENUE IN THE
AMOUNT OF $21.71, AND AUTHORIZE CITY CLERK TO
NOTIFY BLACK HAWK COUNTY TREASURER OF SAID
CANCELLATION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Iowa Code 384.84 states that if the delinquent rates or charges were
incurred prior to the date a transfer of the property or premises in fee simple is filed with the
County Recorder and such delinquencies were not certified to the County Treasurer prior to such
date,the delinquent rates or charges are not eligible to be certified to the County Treasurer.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to notify the Black Hawk County
Treasurer of said cancellation.
