RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
FEBRUARY 6, 2017 TO APPROVE PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND
SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS FEBRUARY 2, 2017
FOR DEMOLITION SERVICES FOR 820 NEWELL STREET,
915 NEWELL STREET, 71 FRANKLIN STREET, 929 LINDEN
AVENUE, 426 CHERRY STREET, 310 OAK STREET, 847
DAWSON STREET, AND 414 THOMPSON STREET, AND
INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo Iowa shall meet in Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 6th day of February, 2017, to
approve preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. and setting date of bid opening
as February 2, 2017 for Demolition Services for 820 Newell Street, 915 Newell Street, 71
Franklin Street, 929 Linden Avenue, 426 Cherry Street, 310 Oak Street, 847 Dawson Street,
and 414 Thompson Street, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of January 2017.
