RESOLUTION NO. 2017-68
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
FEBRUARY 20, 2017, FOR THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE
OF CITY-OWNED PROPERTY, LOCATED AT 1003
LAFAYETTE STREET, THROUGH THE NEIGHBORHOOD
STABILIZATION PROGRAM, TO KARINA VALDEZ, WITH A
PURCHASE PRICE OF $130,000.00, AND INSTRUCT CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 20th day of February 2017,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the sale and conveyance of city owned property,
through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, to Karina Valdez, with a purchase price of
$130,000.00, and legally described as follows:
THE NORTHWESTERLY 49 FEET OF THE SOUTHEASTERLY 98 FEET OF LOTS
NOS. 7 AND 10 IN BLOCK 24 IN THE ORIGINAL PLAT ON THE EAST SIDE OF
THE CEDAR RIVER IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY,
IOWA.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of February 2017.
