RESOLUTION NO. 2017-80
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, AND FORM OF CONTRACT, IN CONJUNCTION
DEMOLITION SERVICES FOR DEMOLITION OF 820 NEWELL
STREET, 915 NEWELL STREET, 71 FRANKLIN STREET, 929
LINDEN AVENUE, 426 CHERRY STREET, 310 OAK STREET, 847
DAWSON STREET, AND 414 THOMPSON STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Community Planning and Development Director of said City to prepare proposed plans,
specifications, and form of contract, in conjunction with Demolition services for demolition of
820 Newell Street, 915 Newell Street, 71 Franklin Street, 929 Linden Avenue, 426 Cherry Street,
310 Oak Street, 847 Dawson Street, and 414 Thompson Street, in the city of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director did file said plans,
specifications, and form of contract, in conjunction with Demolition services for demolition of
820 Newell Street, 915 Newell Street, 71 Franklin Street, 929 Linden Avenue, 426 Cherry Street,
310 Oak Street, 847 Dawson Street, and 414 Thompson Street, in the city of Waterloo, Iowa, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, and form of contract, in
conjunction with Demolition services for demolition of 820 Newell Street, 915 Newell Street, 71
Franklin Street, 929 Linden Avenue, 426 Cherry Street, 310 Oak Street, 847 Dawson Street, and
414 Thompson Street, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, are hereby approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6t" day of February 2017.
