Mayor Rooff asked that the citizens in this community afford Dr. Swartzendruber the
same trust that they afforded him when he took office and to please build a bridge
of support to the School Board because regardless of what has happened over the past
school administrations, we need to make change, we need to make effective change,
and it has to happen now. That is why this administration has supported the PPEL,
not to raise taxes, because we are committed to lowering taxes, but to the needs of
our kids. He hopes that the work we are doing helps in some small way, and he hopes
the voters turn out because this is a definitely a decision that needs to made, and
he urged everyone to get out and vote for the candidates and the PPEL.
