Donald Street, complained about seeing Fire Department personnel shopping for grocery's at Logan Plaza while leaving their ambulance parked in the handicap parking lane. He understands the need to purchase food but feels the vehicle should not be in handicap parking areas. Collier reported that he has received several phone calls about the dust that is raised during the grinding of the street for the seal coat program. He asked for an explanation of the process. Larry Cunningham, Central Garage Superintendent, explained that the process requires grinding of the street and then oil is added in one operation. Streets shouldn't be left without seal coating for more than a couple of days. Jordan/Anders that the above oral comments be received and placed on file. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
