the east by Wagner Road, the south by the East Lake and the west by Highway 218, as
published in the Waterloo Courier on December 20, 1996, be received and placed on

107852 - HOLD HEARING --This being the time and place of public hearing, the Mayor called for
written and oral objections and there were none.
Don Dunlop, as a representative for Basic Materials Corporation, reported that Basic
Materials has been trying to obtain this agreement for more than ten years. Three
parties stand to benefit from the agreement. Basic Materials will receive product
for their sand reserve, and both the Brinker family and the City will receive income
from the mining rights.
