Starting on Monday, August 3, 1998, the oral presentation segment will be moved to 6:30 p.m., just prior to the regular meeting of the council. Ayes: Six. Prior to a vote on the above motion, the following comments were heard. Councilperson Getty questioned the procedure for this project. Mayor Rooff stated that the bid price of $784,100.00 from Peters Construction will be negotiated. Both the Silos & Smokestacks General Manager and the architect who designed the project believe the project can be redesigned and/or change -ordered to meet the money allocated for this project ($503,882.40).
