ORAL PRESENTATIONS
110666 - Councilperson Murphy stated that he wanted to share an incident that happened
over the weekend that shows what kind of citizens we have in our community. Mr.
Murphy's wife works at Allen Hospital and on Friday she was involved in the
treatment of a 17 month old baby. The baby's mother did not have any food in the
house and with the holiday, no organizations were available to help her.
Councilperson Murphy wanted to thank Allen Hospital nurses and staff, Walter Reed
and Scott's Electric who generously donated funds to this family to help them buy
food to get them through the weekend.
