The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Regular Session at, City Hall Council
Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, September 13, 1999. Mayor John R.
Rooff in the Chair. Roll Call: Murphy, Jordan, Krizek, Gronen, Collier, Anders. Absent:
Getty.
Invocation by: Sister Kathleen Grace, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Association of
Hispanic Ministry

ORAL PRESENTATIONS
112740 - Joyce Marshall, 226 Bates, stated that Ambassadors for Christ Church, 810 Byron
Avenue, would like to request that parking be allowed on both sides of the street
on Wednesday evenings and for special events.
Councilperson Gronen stated that he spoke with Ms. Marshall and has staffed her
request to Mike Mrzlak, Superintendent of Traffic Operations.
Mike Mrzlak, Superintendent of Traffic Operations, stated that an ordinance will
be placed on the council agenda next week. Mr. Mrzlak stated that all the
neighbors in the 800 block of Byron Avenue have signed the petition.
