Mr. Temeyer will meet with Mr. Marlin after tonight's meeting to find out the status of the paperwork on his deed. Cheryl Christiansen, 1702. Mitchell Avenue, questioned the status of a stop light that was to be installed at the intersection of Williston Avenue and 11th Street. Mike Mrzlak, Superintendent of Traffic Operations, reported that the city applied for funding from the Iowa Department of Transportation for the traffic light, and that funding has been approved. The city will purchase the signal equipment and proceed with the installation. Jim Porter, stated that the Mayor's State of the City is scheduled for Monday, February 15, 1999 at 12:30 p.m. at the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center.
