RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENT, FORM OF CONTRACT
ETC AND SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS MARCH 23
2017 AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS MARCH 27, 2017
FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) AERIAL BOOM TRUCK
FOR THE TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT, AND INSTRUCT CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, bid document, form of contract, etc., as
submitted by Mark Rice, Public Works Director, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at Ci Hall Waterloo Iowa at 5:30 .m. on the 2 th
rS' p 7 day of March, 2017, to
approve specifications, bid document, form of contract, etc. and setting date of bid opening

as March 23, 2017, for the purchase of one (1) aerial boom truck for the Traffic Department.
Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27 th day February of Feb2017.
